World Medical Mission Moreano is a organization that primarily goes to Ecuador and Dominican Republic providing gratis medical and surgical care for children and adults having deformities and conditions primarily involving the head and neck region.  Other surgical disciplines that expand the services provided sometimes includes-dentistry, ophthalmology, general surgery, and plastic surgery. Key participants who are essential for contributing to the success of the mission include anesthesiologists, nurse anesthesists, OR and PAR nurses along with surgical and service technicians.

The mission was began by Dr. Edwin Moreano a New York City facial-plastic surgeon whom is a colleague of Dr. Dick Hoistad and together they have participated in at least one annual mission since 2002.  Typically the missions return to the same area and facilities facilities therefore providing patient continuity and follow-up care as patients may need this or have family members with similar related problems.
